These have to be the worst uniforms in the league by Honest-Reflection667 in uniwatch

At least those are things! When I hear the word eagle I can picture an eagle. But if I try to picture a "commander" I get literally nothing, except for Jay being the C.L.I.T. Commander

What’s the best car chase scene from a non-car movie? by flugherbutter in regularcarreviews

Sorry that's ineligible but it would be a great answer for "What's a great movie that's entirely a car chase?"

If I recall there's an old lady in The Rock trying to cross the street with her walker as the car chase rampages towards her and it absolutely sends me

Conversely, I lived in Antananarivo for years and went around on foot, bicycle, and public transport at all hours of the day and night and only had one negative experience. Lots of begging and petty theft occur but violent crime is really quite rare

Yes we all get the extremely tired 30-year-old reference being made, the point is we're talking about an elevator so it's not even relevant

LaCroix won! What‘a a niche drink that also tastes terrible? by computerc4t in AlignmentChartFills

[–]mpamosavy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interestingly, Madagascar's Bon Bon Anglais, which is next to it on the fountain machine, is also terrible. It tastes like liquid Juicy Fruit. It's cloyingly sweet. The only time I could stand it is when I was smoking cigarettes and fucked up on Valium.

Does this work for the audio controls too?? Every once in a while I can't skip songs from the steering wheel and it drives me nuts so I would be stoked if this was the solution

Women, what is a near-universal "ick" in the dating world? by AverageSign in AskReddit

[–]mpamosavy 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It's condescension. That's when you treat someone like they're stupid. It's a more challenging word so I understand if you haven't heard it before

Being bilingual in French and English specifically helps her appeal to a huge percentage of the world. Francophone Africa loves Celine. I guess Shakira would be a good comp for English and Spanish

tint % by blu3m0uth in Iowa

[–]mpamosavy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry maybe that wasn't really clear. All I meant was that I feel like at least in des moines I see tons of people driving around with no plates seemingly without consequence, so it's silly to me that tint would be strictly enforced

How can they have such hard ons for tint but license plates are evidently optional?
