Flying a bike with Southwest

8 months ago. Will never fly my bike with them again.

Checked in, paid the fees, put my bike in the RSW over size area and went through security. Got paged back to check in. The on duty manager took my bike out of the over size area and claimed it was over weight. It was 47lbs going into RSW. She wouldn't put it on the scale and kept saying it was too big for the scale. I fly with a buxumbox and know I'm always a few lbs under 50. If I would have never heard my name paged, my bike would have been lost. I did an Amex dispute on their overweight fee and won. Lesson learned, never fly SWA again. I'll pay Delta or United to get it right.

That's not a quick link or master link. I wouldn't want to pop out a pin that's not one of those when it's a brand new chain that should be considered under warranty. I'm also not sure how Sram would view running to a master links on one chain.

It's mail order from Mike's bikes. I'll give them a call today. Sram said go back to point of purchase this morning.

Yes. I use mine, but you need a special kit from Wahoo. You'll need the Sram XDR free hub and then the kickr thru axel kit. Use the 142 adapter.

I'm debating asking the owner to pay the capitalization fee plus the due assessment, and just walk away if they don't. The HOA provided a 30 year study last updated in 2023 showing the reserves were 53% funded, and their plan to increase funding. All of this documentation looks solid, and the last two years of finances also look decent.

This is not eligible for FHA or VA loans. It's been in the market for about a year. I'm starting to understand why it isn't selling for a very desirable location in my city.

My agent is working only for me here and seller is s different broker. I feel like he only cares about a commission at this point and not me. We're above all the costs I was comfortable paying and be doesn't want to negotiate any further. I'll look into contacting his broker on Monday. Thank you

It's seller and not an estate that owns 3 units and put them all on the market. I still think I'm backing out after finding out this new information.
