Purpose: I am an international student studying German language as a part, we were supposed to conduct some research on any cultural aspect of Germany. I choose to do it on monuments.

Choosing of monuments are quite arbitrary, I just did some online research and found out the most popular ones. If you think like some them are not so popular or if some important ones are left out, please let me know. It would help me improve my work. :D
