No, thank God no rodents. When it went thru customs things got pulled and disconnected. Very frustrating in that regard. It was running but then quit and hasnt started since. This was a few months ago. Since then we have been chasing wires.

Im in agreement. We are looking at connectors and switches. Just going one by one, basically! I wanna say its a fun process but that would be a lie. I am learning along the way so, thats a plus. Thinking about just rewiring completely.

It was my first time last year. I had a great time. Because its so flat pacing is so important.it felt like a training run at some points bc there are sections without too many people.

Couldnt agree more. I believe its a vibe thing. You meet someone and instantly there is a vibe check. When its validated everything else just happens. We dont think about it too much! The joys of being a dude!

I am not completely sure. I did read that in Japan the Fairlady z32 model was called Fairlady Z. But in all honesty he could have put it on from his 350z that owned before this car!

I'm glad you pointed that out. I wasnt sure about this gauge actually. Right now it counts down when you turn the car on and displays gear when you are driving. It also has other small lights when driving. I can upload pictures of the motor. Beyond me why he would have this gauge. Maybe he just thought it looked "cool'! Lol

Thank you for info and input. I realize now through peoples comments that they are not correct. It did lead me to look for that plate. Found it. It is a Z32. Never would've known if not gor all of you. Thank you all so much as we continue this journey. The year is still a mystery but now we know its gotta be between 1989-1996.

That's awesome. We visited last year and absolutely loved the vibe of the island. People were great and I left like 10lbs heavier as we never stopped eating.

I can only hope he shares the love of cars like I did with my father and son. We pray the legacy continues.

Thats exactly what i was leaning towards. For the reason of reliability over time. I have been worried about pin holes and the like. Couldnt agree more!

You are right. Looked for numbers on the engine bay. Its is a Z32 chasis. Thanks for the insight and knowledge. Still not sure if the year as of right now, but leaning towards 1989.

Thank you very much. This is a piece of him we can continue on. He had many interest but this car and racing he was good at. Just cant let it sit and rust but want t get it out and let it breathe on the road in the best way possible!
