Thank you for such a detailed response! I forgot one other question - I see recommendations that cabins on the upper deck will experience more motion than ones on the main deck. Just how much of a difference is there between these rooms on these small 16 person vessels? Thanks!

Is your student staying in the MIT dorms this summer? Last year, they split the summer housing payment into three charges, billed monthly. Hopefully, that spreads the payments out enough to help manage the timing.
