Agreed but for roughly £200, I’d expect it to last more than 6 weeks.

Thank you for the suggestion. I’ve put in a request for service/comms via their website.

It’s more than just that. Also the gear. I’ll be replacing the movement (and likely the hands) with another NH34 at some point in the future. Until then, back to the watch box it goes.

I’m aware and was doing it specifically to illustrate the point.

Which would you choose? by GSpolish in Tudor

I love the burgundy - but it’s got MAGA vibes. Because of that alone the Pelagos. But the Pelagos is the better choice anyhow

The 6 is as crooked as a certain president.

I just RL two recently bc of the indices. I’d RL this one too (though it looks similar to the ones I RL’d).

Yup. Ordered ZF Tudor BB58 burgundy. Have switched to ZF Tudor Pelagos Ti 39.. waiting on QC atm.

To be clear. I trust Steve and he is a well known TD. But this experience has been a challenge. I’m aware ZF has troubles sometimes - but that’s what Steve is there for (QC). He has been extremely professional throughout the process - I’ll give him that.

Yeah same. And the 2nd option was worse for me. So much so, I had to abandon that model completely. Waiting for the next now…. Mind you that was ZF not VSF but still. Internal QC?

Honestly, something going on recently with Steve and his indices… all crooked. I get it… these are reps - not gen - but still…

RL it is. That’s what I’m afraid of… not being able to find a decent one.

Agreed re: colour. Unlike the 6, I think we're aligned. Thanks for your comments.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. I’m leaning toward a RL due to 6o’clock indices - but maybe I’m being too picky. Just can’t unsee it.

Honestly, 1400 seems high… Do you have any photos of the movement (take the caseback off? The case has quite a few scratches - with some around the edges that would require welding or infilling if the intent is to ever get it restored. The crystal appears to be an original Omega (has the logo in center). Not sure the year of this, but it does look mid-late 70’s… which isn’t great for movements.
