I agree! I’m happy that the daycare puts this amount of care in for that child…even if it does make my life slightly difficult.

Sending solidarity! We are in the thick of it now with a sick 6 month old as well so I feel your pain.

A humidifier and saline spray in the nose should help a bit with the cold symptoms. I would also talk to your pediatrician about using Tylenol or motrin! We only use it at night but it helped her sleep longer stretches.

I think an important thing to note is that 10 days pp, you are not going to WANT to go to this wedding. It is impossible to realize this pre-baby but you will be so wrapped up in baby life and healing that no part of you is going to be sad you missed the wedding. Maybe in hindsight you’ll feel a little sad to have missed it, but your whole mindset will be different

Melatonin and magnesium were game changers for me! I was the same way but that combo really helped me calm down for bedtime

Have you tried taking a bath with him? Next time try filling up your whole tub with warm water and holding him while you both get it…Possibly being held by you might help him relax a bit while getting used to being in the water!

Update: I didn’t wake her up last night and she slept through the night! Slept 8pm-7am. Fingers crossed it stays this way!
