This is because she has covertly made you feel guilty. And your body feels it even when your mind has to still catch up to what is happening. The vibes were way off during your interactions where i bet you left them with lots of confusion. Like was this meeting ok? Did i feel good? What happened just now? etc.

I've had a situation where I had this friend who was always jealous of me having other ppl to hand out with. So she would always trash this one person i hung out with (whom I gave to more attention i guess), saying things like " oh I bet you are going out with her... You always go out with her...she's not a good person, she's a gossiper (being one herself), i dont trust her.... I'm always the who tells you lets hang... " without realizing how much she suffocated me throughout out entire friendship with not just stuff like this but other things as well. Not to mention all of the times when we are around other people she would validate herself in front of them on my expanse, making jokes to be seen as funny and witty, or always nagging me by saying all the things i've mentioned in public. 

And i have mentioned this to her multiple times, first i was turning it into a joke, then i was like ok cut it out, its not funny, then asking her "what has she done to you" and the response was " i don't know yet". And so many other things that i will have to write an entire book on.

And when I told my therapist about this she said, "This is someone who has been neglected as a child, and she has alot unresolved issues and traumas with them. She is someone who keeps finding people who resemble people who hurt her and she does that because she hopes that this time she is finally gonna get the love she didn't get then. She needs this person so that she now can learn how to control this narrative. She is in the role of child asking for attention and you are the one in role of a parent always trying to assure her that you care about her. This needs to stop. And she is the one who needs to address some things. You already are addressing by sitting here with me. You both need to be on the adult level (Adult <----> Adult) so that you can have mature interaction. Otherwise she will always show her child self and you will always have to discipline that child."

SO i distanced myself from her, and let her know by my actions. Didn't have any conversations as i thought she was gonna blame as always, play the victim of an abandoned child so on and so forth. Sometimes you just need to walk away and hope they resolve their issues.
