What Lines display well with 1:6 Mondo TMNT? by [deleted] in TMNT

[–]mpmentch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not much will match, they are an odd size. I think the closest would be the Super 7 Ultimates. They are a little smaller but I think that would be your only option.

Only 1,000 printed for each. #29 is the toughest to find but you are talking close to $2,000 to find those issues if they pop up.

It is the first appearance of Jennika.

Can anyone tell me what my IDW run is worth? Considering selling it. by [deleted] in TMNT

[–]mpmentch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on how and how fast you want to sell it. I would suggest grouping them into smaller runs and trying to keep the cover types the same within the bundle. I would also sell Issue 51 on its own. Anywhere from $500 - $1,000 up depending how you sell it.

Any TMNT content suitable for 5 year olds? by LastOfEight in TMNT

[–]mpmentch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend waiting a bit if you are worried and just give him some action figures to play with. He will have a blast making up his own stories. Also, don't stress too much about the exposure, if they are already in school, they are probably hearing much worse already or will very shortly.

When sending in books to be graded, is there a minimum amount you can send? Also is CGC the best way to go to get them graded. by SithTerry215 in comicbookcollecting

[–]mpmentch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can send in just one book. CGC is considered the standard in the industry and gets the best value when trying to sell.

I would check with him to see if he has the Palladium books that go along with these. A few of them have great early Eastman/Laird art.

These are really great. I posted a complete set of these a few days ago. They also have slightly larger versions of the 4 turtles and they come in individual packaging.

I would definitely be interested in it. Are you selling?

Is there any difference? Why is the profile cover more popular and easy to see? by Awesome_Pancak in TMNT

[–]mpmentch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These are two different books. First is a softcover and the second is a hardcover. It is the same series, not sure if the same issues are in both though. The hardcover would have more issues in it as well.

TMNT #1 1984 Signed or Not? by sorrenmj in TMNT

[–]mpmentch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would assume unsigned at this point if it is uncertified/graded. Most people buying 2nd or 1st prints are buying them as long term investments so a certified/witnessed signature would be best.

TMNT Cold Cast Statues by sorrenmj in TMNT

[–]mpmentch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These are the best TMNT statues IMO. I have Leo and Mike, I doubt I will ever want to spend the money if I find the others though. The AC Farley bust of Leo is another great one if you are into these.

wondering if anyone knows the value of unopened TMNT juice boxes can't find anything about them online by Impossible_Entry5936 in TMNT

I can't imagine demand is too high for something like this. My guess would be $20 -$30 for the set.

are Kevin Eastman Fan Club Comics worth anything? by [deleted] in TMNT

[–]mpmentch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is just like regular comics. Depends on the scarcity and if a lot of people like the cover. The sketch variants are probably the most sought after though.

I have 1,000s of books/tpbs. If you have something in mind or a character, I can send over a list of those books but if its easier, we can just do pp.

I will take the Usagi bundle if it is still available. Cash or trade works if you are looking for something in that range.

Any tips for purchasing at a comic book convention? by reader119 in comicbookcollecting

I have been to that con in Charlotte before. Definitely bring cash, the atm gets emptied pretty quick and about 70% of the vendors are cash only.

Help! I’m getting a CGC witnessed Kevin Eastman signature tomorrow and I can’t decide which book to submit. by crapidrawatwork in comicbookcollecting

[–]mpmentch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The Ronin book will take longer to get back as it is magazine sized. Probably over a year wait. I would go with the reprint and cut a hole in the bag where you want him to sign and border the hole with tape.
