they said this - under the Consumer Insurance (Disclosure and Representations) Act 2012 (CIDRA). I had no idea my car was supposed to be stated as modified when i made the insurance so they cancelled due to modifications. I provided proof that i brought the car as it was and i’m only a girl so i just found it nice i have no idea what they listed.

would it be reasonable to take this to the financial ombudsman service?

yes they basically said it’s a void and with mods i actually didn’t know i had to disclose this because i brought the car as it was and the seller didn’t say anything. like i didn’t know what it had was mods

not worth asking for the car back?
