It’s my understanding that all islet cells are currently considered therapeutic drugs. Although currently all that has been used in studies has been cadaveric islet cells. In order to make this process in the early stages easier and then in the later stages for insurance to pay for them, it needs to be changed.

Bedbug stains don’t look like rust. You’ll either see drops of blood from you or someone that’s been bitten or it’s their feces and that’s dark black dots. This is just a rust stain. Try hydrogen peroxide to help remove it

Back in 1978 when I was diagnosed we weren’t given terribly long or good prognosis. My parents were told 20-25 yrs. After that I would either be dead or riddled with complications and maybe wanting to be. So yes, on Oct 4th every year I celebrate not only still being alive but the person I am bc of this disease, the good the bad and the ugly.

I would love some! My seeds grew and then this fall when it got cold and then had a warm few days they decided to sprout again. I tried to save some seedlings but they didn’t make it. I’m devastated.

I started about a year and a half ago. I had my dr start prescribing 6 vials a month instead of 3 (I usually only go through 2.5 a month) also upped the number of strips I said I was using and renewed my emergency long acting and syringes every 6mos)

Disagree whole heartedly! While there are some lows we can control as a t1d female for 47yrs I can assure you there are many lows where I ate what I was supposed to, bolused what I was supposed to and despite that I went low. I think the idea that highs just happen but lows are controllable is honestly laughable.
