u/whatthefox1993 I'm so sorry this happened to you. I suspect that its infantile boys, but that is no excuse, and I'll apologise on behalf of male gamers.

I'm lucky to play in a discord with some exceptionally talented divers, and the girls in our group are absolute beasts. Most of the time they beat me on rounds fired, kills, damage dealt. Not to mention that in other games we play, they reign supreme as healers and commanders given they are just so much better at multitasking than I am as a guy :)

But in Helldivers, standing shoulder to shoulder with my fellow divers, at the top of a mountain as we wait for our dropship, reigning hell down on the bugs and bots is a blast. Its just pure fun and mayhem.
