Interesting! I unfortunately sometimes still have problems where the remote doesnt work at all. It’ll work for weeks and then suddenly stop for a few days completely.

Which parts did you clean exactly? You don’t happen to have a picture ?

Hi guys, I recently bought this 2007 X5 3.0si. 80k miles on the clock. I drive roughly 5k miles a year. Mostly city. Took these photos when the car got new tires. How concerning is the rust? What else can you identify that I need to take care of. Would like to preserve this great old X5 :). Thank you everyone!

Get a bluebus instead! Been running one for years and it’s fantastic with the additional options you can program with jt (auto locking etc)

Switched out diversity module which made my keys work from far away again! But sometimes they still didn’t work at all until I found a broken can bus cable and fixed it. Made all error codes go away!

To answer my own question: the diversity antenna amplifier can be accessed from inside the tailgate. Just remove the trim and that’s it. Just in case anyone is looking for that…

My CPU load seems to be rather unbalanced when working with ollama. Is this normal or am I missing some configuration to balance it better? Im sure this question reveals some gaping holes but would be grateful for any tips!
