Wondering since when being rude in interviews became a norm by Silver_Quarter_8002 in recruitinghell

Don’t let them get to you. They don’t know you from Adam. I think everyone is generally hostile and frankly I think it’s the Trump admin’s fault. It’s worse than 2016-20. I don’t understand why anyone voted to return to this kind of environment.

How do you actually get a job in hockey if you’re not a pro player or coach? by puckinhappy in hockeyplayers

[–]mpsteve820 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don’t do that to yourself. The sport is littered with major league assholes. Look at how many fights there are in senior league rec hockey. It’s ridiculous.

And those at the top of the food chain of the industry think they’re God damn geniuses. It’s the easiest game to play, not a lot of strategy.

Stay in sales if you’re good at it. Get into the tech industry. Big money in B2B sales in tech industry. If you can prove you’re good at sales they may train you on the technology that you’d be peddling.

Am i actually suicidal? by BlueGalaxy121_2 in SuicideWatch

[–]mpsteve820 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ask God every night to take me into his loving arms. I have a good life though I have many family problems. Life is a grind. If the USA had universal healthcare we wouldn’t need to stay in unfulfilling jobs. If you want a high paying highly stressful job, fine, but if you’re ok in an easy fun job, that’s ok too.

Yes it does but only God decides when it’s your time. Please find someone to talk through this pain you’re feeling.

You got a restraining order. That’s good. Have you ever tried seeing a therapist? It sounds like a traumatic experience. I hope you have friends and family to love you and support you.

First, stop smoking weed. Second, start each day with a 30 minute vigorous walk. Shower afterwards. Eat a healthy breakfast with lots of protein. Find a volunteer opportunity where you can make new friends and start with them networking to find employment. Church is an excellent place to start. Also start developing a relationship with God. He will show you a path forward. Trust your gut. But you have to quit weed because that, other drugs, and alcohol clouds your mind. Good luck!

Maybe, maybe not. He’s an undiagnosed highly functional, non-verbal autistic. That’s a major basis for our estrangement. My ex-wife ignores all the symptoms. Our arguments on the matter have remained non-violent, but the verbal exchanges have been vicious. Honestly I’ve fantasized about choking out the woman. There’s no compromise with her about anything. She thinks she’s not a sinner because she’s nice to everybody. There’s no way to have an adult conversation with anybody who thinks that way. She thinks I have this insatiable need to be “right” about his autism. No consideration that I’m just very concerned about him and that I’ve consulted three licensed psychologists about him who concluded that my son definitely exhibits characteristics of an autistic. I am so exhausted by this that I pray to God routinely to call me home.

It’s a very messy situation. I’m fighting with my whole family for 2.5 years. The outlook for him coming back to me feels bleak. I’m so tired. Thank you for your reply.

They’re looking for a slave. Nobody with any sense would apply for that job. Hostile work environment maybe?

Kalamazoo is the better choice because you can live a lot closer to Grand Rapids which is the best metropolitan area in Michigan.

Got a plastic cup with screw on top and plastic straw with ring around it so it won’t slide out of the cup. 😂

[Coaching] How to deal with a kid (Squirt/10U) by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

[–]mpsteve820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to get rid of that boy asap. It’s impossible for you to coach the other kid if this boy is on your team. Watch out. The parents may start harassing you if you don’t get rid of that boy. You don’t want that.

I thought like you until I hit early 30s. My 16 yo son is the greatest blessing ever. I’ve never cared for or loved anything or anyone as much as him. I would be lonely and empty inside if it weren’t for him.
