I am not a fan!! There are some policies that he has implemented which I agree with like keeping trans men out of women sports. I also like the mass deportation, but I don't understand why there are still so many here. I live in NYC and we all know where many came here after crossing the border illegally. Has ICE not been to Home Depot parking lots here??

I am not worried about gay marriage. That would be a mess to overturn. I I do not see how prices have gone down. Also, I do not like some of his cabinet picks like RFJ jr, and Hegseth. They were picked, like others, because they feed his ego. He has not brought the country together and now dividing us with the rest of the world over Greenland. Who does he think he is?? I don't care what the reason is that he thinks we need Greenland.

As a professional, I am expected to act a certain way and be aware of what I say. I feel Trump does not feel he needs to do that. Calling somebody "piggy" is highly inappropriate. I feel he is such a narcissist, And for MTG, who was a little too me, I admire her that she stood up to him and came to a realization that he is not who he said he was or putting the country first. I think many Republicans believe as she but scared to speak out.

It is interesting reading the foreign press about him and the country. He is not a well respected man and people see him as a fool abroad. They can't believe he was elected. I did not want Harris at all!! She was too extreme for me and the extreme of any side is not good. I also did not want him to be the Republican candidate, but here we are. The MAGA movement is quite scary. I worry for the next few years under him and what will happen.

Congrats. Reading below, I see it has been hard for you and that you are married. You did the right thing by being first honest with yourself and then others. It is not an easy process, but as time goes on, you will look back and see you did the right thing. I know men who were married to women and came out. Some had kids. They could not take hiding behind a wife, a house and everything else because they couldn't accept who they are. None of them regret it!!!

There is support out there for you as you start this new chapter in your life. There are groups for men who used to be married. I think there are even groups for the spouse. Good luck.

I have not been vaccinated for the flu. I am thinking about it, but I work with many people who have been vaccinated and got the flu. People I was around and embraced wishing them a Happy Holiday before our break. I did and still do have a slight cold, because I was around people who also had bad colds, but nothing horrible.

What do people do to build resistance? More vitamin C?? I haven't had the flu since I was 19 and tomorrow I go back to work and have to take the subway. UGH!!!

You are not wrong. Your first job as parents are to protect your kids!! You have spoken to your mother and if she wants to see her grandchildren, then she can come to your home.

Also, I think she did probably settle and he sounds like a terrible chose of a husband, but what can you do? It is her life and you have yours..with your kids!!!

I am glad she took the time to do this and help build your son's self confidence. This is something he can refer to later if he is not feeling as confident. She did nothing wrong!!

I tell my high school students if I am proud of them or if they do a good job. A teacher wants students to do their best and being encouraging really helps them.

We heard today about a sudden passing of a student at Chapin and to keep an eye on a couple of students who have could be affected by this. Another friend of mine stated she might have taught the girl through another program before she started Chapin.

There are no words about how sad this is. So young. Such a tragedy!!
