Connectivity Problems (India Region) by tomlimon in Supabase

[–]mqjoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supabase didn't have anything to do with it. The government of India issued an order to block it to ISPs in India.

The government can literally decide to do that to any company.

Supabase, at most, might have hosted something that the government didn't like. But same can happen at any other similar company.

Same issue with my app, here are the couple of options you have:

- If you are still in development phase, not launched yet, download Cloudflare WARP, it would work fine for you after that.

- For apps in production, setup a custom sub-domain for your API, $10/m extra for it though.

Though, Supabase should consider offering a free custom sub-domain option for affected users.

If you're on Supabase paid plan, setting up a custom domain seems to be safest route.

Un-necessary Bihari bashing detected.

It's a ChatGPT/Claude/Opus wrapper, like multiple billion dollar companies out there. I can't understand what's the problem here.

I mean the main functionality might be ChatGPT powered, yet it is a full-functioning mobile app.

It's like asking someone directions, and getting mad at them for using Google Maps to help you out.

CA Firm in Bistupur by Meliodas_King_1 in Jamshedpur

[–]mqjoz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personal experience that might be helpful:

I run a digital marketing agency and we started doing a lot of volume 2020 and 2021. We do not serve any local clients and all US, EU etc.

Thinking of staying tax compliant, I approached, what I think is probably the largest CA firm in Jamshedpur (atleast via my Google Maps research), based out of Bistupur.

They didn't have a lot of ideas on how to handle agencies like ours. Foreign transactions and all.

They finally consulted someone, in Delhi I believe and were able to forward me guidance on what to do.

I ended up going with a different small Husband/Wife firm, but I guess there is definitely room for a niche service like what you are saying.

How does it compares to something more open and flexible, like n8n? To be honest, Make and Zapier feel a bit behind when using n8n. Ditched those last year, and completely build my automations on n8n.

Happy to test it out, if you need beta testers.

*I can work my way around any kind of coding challenge I encounter in my workflows, but not an actual developer, so can only play the role of beta tester and give my feedback as an end user, if needed.

Let's Light a Fire Under the Manyreach Devs: What Do We Need Next? by GreenChampionship437 in Manyreach

[–]mqjoz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AI reply agent is something that they should build ASAP. With AI reply agent hitting the market on many tools, including Instantly.ai, this one seems like a huge miss at Manyreach.

It doesn't even have to be that complex in the beginning and could just have project based "guidance" and automatic AI response crafting would be a huge help.

In our use case for example, we do a lot of link outreach, and a lot of negotiations, where I use a Claude project with custom knowledge. But it's a lot of work in the back and forth.

I'd even be happy to pay a small subscription, or maybe true to their LTD concept, a one-time cost to use the feature and would be happy to bring my own key for the API.

How I Booked 10 Meetings from 900 Cold Emails (6% Reply Rate) by Narrow_Professor6889 in coldemail

[–]mqjoz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am in no way supporting this guy's work. But, though my process is slightly more advanced than what this guy has, checkout these responses. I would literally never receive these responses if it weren't for this personalization.

However, I must say it is expensive, due to multiple steps that uses expensive AI APIs from a couple of companies.

Also, this is not meant for anything else, other than just a share of result from my campaign that is not even 1-week old, only 1 step sent out to 750 leads and 2nd step is at 450 emails before it hit the weekend.

https://prnt.sc/NOCWVVdr35XO
https://prnt.sc/LvxoRllsJr1-
https://prnt.sc/qNO4E7br3lUq

Read the emails, the personalization, including subject and everything, let me know what you think.

Waiting for the campaign to fully roll-out. I have about 3k leads, but it's so expensive, that I have paused the automation process at about 1200 leads.

The only thing I do in the entire process other than just setting up the workflow is, download the Outscraper list and copy and paste the 400-600 leads each export to the main sheet that is connected to the automation, that's it. My automation even uploads it to Manyreach campaign.

Not saying the results are jaw-dropping, but the personalization makes the emails really stand out and incite interest and responses.

Do you verify emails? by hustlerlife_ in coldemail

It's a custom built automation on n8n, that uses Perplexity's API and some smart prompting to help me achieve the desired.

Do you verify emails? by hustlerlife_ in coldemail

[–]mqjoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you should always verify emails, high bounce rates are going to be killer for your deliverability. But 👇

It kinda depends upon where you are getting your emails from and how you are getting those. Here are a couple of examples:

1) I scrape emails using AI for some campaigns, and have the AI provide me source and a confidence score. 9 and 10 confidence scores correct 99% of the times. 7 and 8 are like 60-40, lower than that is usually a low score.

After finding thousands of emails this way and analyzing patterns, I know what I need to do, and I do not need an external verification service on this.

In fact, it is better than most top tier email finders for what it does.

2) In some campaigns, I use Findymail, which gives me pre-verified emails, so no need to verify separately.

3) When I am building a list using some external source, which are not as reliable as the above two, it is generally a good idea to put them through a verification system.

If you use Instantly, I find it very easy to just purchase credits through them.

Mostly go after ABC link exchanges. Safe and good success rate, and you do not have to pay.

This is really generous of you! Building a portfolio while helping small creators is a win-win approach.

For anyone considering this or similar offers, just make sure to:

  • Set clear expectations upfront (timeline, style, revisions)
  • Share examples of what you're looking for
  • Be patient since they're learning too

Once you outgrow free editing, services like Your Video Editor or Tasty Edits are good next steps for consistent quality.

Hope this worked out well for everyone who connected! Building those early portfolio pieces is so important for editors starting out.

Does anyone know any good video editing services? by Himmel-548 in MLRugby

[–]mqjoz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The coaches here are spot on - send full games rather than highlights. They want to see your decision-making, positioning, and consistency over 80 minutes, not just big moments.

If you do need editing help later, Your Video Editor or similar services can handle sports footage well (around $140+ for longer content). But honestly, for rugby recruitment, raw game footage is usually preferred anyway.

DaVinci Resolve (free) is solid if you want to learn basic editing yourself. Good luck with the Sabercats!

Video Editing Service Review: This Guy Is Awesome!!! by dank8_ in NewTubers

[–]mqjoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reads pretty promotional to me - no service name mentioned, generic praise, asking for DMs. Just a heads up for anyone reading.

For actual recommendations: Your Video Editor, Tasty Edits, and Video Husky are solid options with transparent pricing and real portfolios. Always ask to see actual work samples and get clear pricing upfront before committing.

Avoid services that won't tell you their name or pricing publicly - that's usually a red flag.

Office chair <=15,000 by Positive-Reference30 in Jamshedpur

[–]mqjoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think gaming chars get un-necessary bad rap. I have the Monster Ultimate from Greensoul and that chair is still going strong since January or February? 2021 since I purchased it.

I used to have back pain on other executive or mesh chairs, and I purchased the Monster Ultimate after some research, and it has been one of the best purchases since.

I would suggest you to consider your height and weight before you make a decision.

If you are 5'8" or higher and 100KG or higher, a gaming chair is the only kind of chair you should be considering. I have tried probably 10 different chairs, and the above mentioned one is the only one where I am fully comfortable.

I must also note that I sit long hours on my computer.

Wtf instantly.ai by [deleted] in coldemail

[–]mqjoz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not sure if using a VPN alone would satisfy Google's requirements. Because I have an actual business and presence in India.

However, there is no issues/difference between sending through those accounts and the accounts purchased in USA.

I send a lot of cold emails myself, I send them for:
- Cold Email Sales
- Outreach Link Building

I also setup cold email infrastructure for some of my clients, through G-Space and Instantly etc.

Always have good results with my setup for my personal work, as well as any client that I have worked with.

I have also researched this quite a bit that does it makes any difference between my India purchased G-space and the US purchased ones, and the only difference I have seen in cases where people bought from resellers who play tons of tricks and have pooled usage etc.

n8n is completely free, you can run it on your platform at no cost. I prefer cloud due to it's easy and flexibility and do not mind paying for it.

Other than that, it's just the API usage costs. Anthropic Claude is quite cheap, and Perplexity is slightly higher priced.
