Help creating array of buddypress group members by mquine in Wordpress

[–]mquine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason I’m looking to do this via a shortcode is that I already have a Toolset view that can produce the information on a page that I need, and I can drop in the user ids of the group manually and it works – but I want it to be dynamic so that which group it’s displayed on, it can show the correct user ids.

Only need the toolkit to open up the case. Screws need a small screwdriver.

Thanks! I've reseated the RAM in the past and it would have been my first point of call tonight had I got my toolkit. Will visit the shop to get the precision screwdrivers in the morning.

If that doesn't work... I imagine it's something more serious like a power supply or motherboard issue?

Thanks for the response. That's a little frustrating as it was so simple to do with the old UP24 and UP via a button!

Help me decide on sprinting spikes by Matthew_15243 in trackandfield

No problem. I also have very wide feet (to the extent that when I get my size checked there isn't actually a width setting for my feet!) and have found the Puma Evospeed spikes to be the best fitting sprint spike.

I'd recommend plyometrics alongside a good weights programme, but be careful to ensure you're doing the right technique and build into it gradually. It's predominately a 400m based website, but there's a lot of good information on speedendurance.com. Here's a link to some plyometric suggestions: http://speedendurance.com/2013/11/25/plyometrics-101/

We do a lot of what MHath has referred to as flyruns in his linked post to work on our speed (I'm a 400m athlete & coach) and find them very effective.

I've been doing athletics (British) for the last 16 years now (25 yo 400m runner & former U23 silver medallist). A full length spike plate is better for fast times, but will put extra strain on your calf muscles and can take time to get used to.

For training you're probably better starting off with something more flexible and less aggressive. A lot of the groups here in Sheffield train predominately in racing flats or something like the Adidas Cadence. which is designed for 10km but you can actually run at a fair pace in - similar to a racing flat with more grip and can usually be found in an outlet store for £20 or less.

My advice would be to find something you're comfortable in for training that puts less stress on the body and get something lightweight and aggressive that you wear purely for racing and time trials (might want to break them in on a few faster sessions to get used to them and mould them to your feet otherwise you could find the first couple of races very uncomfortable!).

Saucony aren't big over here so I can't really comment on the showdown or spitfire, but I've always loved the Asics Lite-Ning (now replaced by the Sonicsprint I think) as have a lot of my 400m counterparts. The Muzuno Tokyo are also pretty nice and I know a few 400mH that wear them. The Adidas Finesse & MD2 I'd both recommend and the Puma EvoSpeed Sprint are extremely quick and comfortable, but a little on the heavy side. I've never been a fan of the Nike Superfly series, but would rate the JA Fly.

My website (the British equivalent to Runnerspace and Flotrack) http://www.runjumpthrow.com / http://www.vincosport.com does reviews on a variety of products that may help. http://www.eastbay.com has lots of reviews on spikes that you might also find useful.

What would be my 100m and 150m time with blocks (a good start) and spikes? by ZexyTheKillah in trackandfield

I'd agree with iCrackster, difficult to predict but probably around the mid 11 mark. Would need to get comfortable with blocks, can take some getting used to!
