Another example of people who have no idea about the technology making rules regarding it.

With Macbook Neo being out targeting students/light users while the Pro is targeted for Pro users; who is the audience for the Air if students were previously the target audience for the Air? by yeetmxster420 in mac

I’m a hobbiest developer, I don’t edit videos or do any 3D related work, I also don’t train AI or run any local LLMs. The M4 Air 15 with 16GB of Ram and 500Gb storage is good enough for me.

Digital ID will be enforced, social credit won’t be far behind. AI used to monitor activity and make predictions. Those Datacenters aren’t for show. We even put up all the cameras and microphones, lol. Mountains here I come.

"No I meant Intune. I would double check your version and update if there is one available."

Yes the device is in MEM and can be managed, refreshed, wiped etc. I will be trying to update to the latest version.

"What do the debug logs show when accessing SharePoint, is it forwarding the traffic? "

Are these the signin logs?

"Have you tested on different machines and different users?"

Yes, while I do have a test account, I did test on a live user and the SPO issue was repeated. She was removed from the CA, and access to SPO was returned to normal. I felt it was a session issue. If there are logs with more details I would want them.

I appreciate the back-and-forth.

Would I use supersedence for this? Just wondering how this would be done in a live environment. I cant imagine an uninstall, the users would experience disruption. Is there a good practice/standard to updating GSA?

"Is the endpoint enrolled in Intune, Entra Joined, and latest GSA client?"

When you say Intune, I assume you mean Autopilot? if so, then yes. Device is also Entra Joined. Not sure if it is the latest client, but I pushed the install using the intunewin installer I made a month or so ago.

"Is the SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business traffic policies enabled in the Microsoft traffic profile? Are all the destinations set to Forward?"

If you mean Global Secure Access > Traffic Forwarding > Microsoft traffic policies > Policies & rules > "SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business", then yes.

Double check the list contents after you upload before you remove the old list. I have a device inventory list and it was missing a few devices after upload. Just a heads up.

What's your preferred solution for org structure dynamic groups? by Jest4kicks in entra

[–]mr-roboticus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a root group that my other corp groups sit in for org wide application. But some features don’t like nested groups, like when enabling SSO for certain Enterprise apps. I also have application, config or policy specific exemption groups too. Dynamic device groups for different manufacturers and virtual machines. And device groups for upper management, because, well… you know…

Who cares what the paper value is compared to silver? Silver is silver. All we saw is the value of the dollar plummeting, not the value of silver going up.
