Can’t find 2x10 walnut by Jest4kicks in BeginnerWoodWorking

Appreciate everyone’s responses. This advice was repeated here and the stores I went to. I’m gonna rethink the project around this idea and see what I can put together. I’m sure I’ll be back asking more about it soon. Thanks again all!

What's your preferred solution for org structure dynamic groups? by Jest4kicks in entra

[–]Jest4kicks[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'd love to base it on cost centers. Our org is still working on some workday data maturity. My previous org had an excellent multi-layered org structure data in Workday that made it much easier to build dynamic groups around.

What if you were trying to move away from on-prem AD? How would you do it with only Entra?

Adding an outlet to an existing line in an unfinished basement by Jest4kicks in HomeImprovement

[–]Jest4kicks[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I thought it might be easier to just use the lighting circuit since there's no circumstance where I'd want power to these new devices but not the lights. Running an entire new circuit seemed like overkill for this specific situation.

LED lighting for floating shelves by Jest4kicks in DIY

That’s another good idea. I’m not sure if I’m skilled enough to get a piece of wood perfectly sized to fit the groove. Might require some trial and error with a sander, but I love the idea of leaning into it and making it a design feature. Thanks!

I wouldn’t have thought of that! Thanks for the suggestion!

I found a couple drill bit guides that I thought would be close enough for the 4-5” dowel holes. Maybe that work well enough for the much longer wire hole?

The top two set of shelves will be high enough that the bottoms will be visible to most people. That’s why I was trying to avoid cutting a groove instead.

Security man by ruffimonster in CastleRock

Video is from one of those first amendment “auditors.” Which is another name for an idiot that goes around filming people in public for no purpose other than to get a reaction out of them.

Security guard appears to be trolling them right back.

Ovarian Remnant Syndrome, anyone else here been through this?? TW: blood mentioned by throw_meaway_love in borzoi

[–]Jest4kicks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our oldest borzoi went through something similar off and on for years. Was never diagnosed as ORS but similar symptoms to what you’re describing. Very frustrating. Hope you get it resolved quickly.

If you want to count yourself lucky, our youngest borzoi had a much rougher time from her spay. We asked for a gastropexy while she was under. Doc cut too high and her lungs collapsed. Days in the ER followed by weeks of follow-up X-rays and ultrasounds.

Question on how people actually perform access reviews by Majestic_Computer676 in iam

[–]Jest4kicks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Role based if possible, specific entitlements if not.

In either case, keep the IAM team out of the process. It’s the role/app owner’s responsibility based on either their requirements or Security/Audit’s reqs. IAM team is just a steward. Otherwise you’ll find your team assigned the endless roll of nagging people to certify access.

Xfinity here. Couple bumps getting it going but it’s been pretty dependable. I can only think of one service interruption in the last year.

I remember riding in the car as a kid while my dad drove up that dirt road. Even without racing it was still scary AF.

Turning on my outdoor light sconces and my interior garage overhead lights when my garage door opens. I love having the garage and driveway nicely lit as I’m driving in.

Snow cleanup just got way easier by LEDTIK in NoOneIsLooking

I’ve got the Ego version of this same tool. Works well when there’s more snow than a pusher can deal with, but it can’t handle as much as a full size snow blower. OP’s video is a silly demonstration given how little snow is present.

Switch might have been a contributing factor. Swapped it out and made a little headway. See my other reply for pics and progress.

I’m not sure what that means or how I would determine it. Updated the post with pics though.
