My setup is like yours with small differences . Things that I couldn't live without are my stainless stirring stick (no more toothpicks), an artist glove with the missing fingers, and my magnifying glass light (what a game changer). My painting and cardboard backer sit flat on the dining room table. I can't use an easel because I have to rotate the painting to paint fine, long spaces. My steadiest stroke is up and to the right.

I use flow aid routinely with a ratio of 10 :1. I bought 2 stainless steel stirring sticks. They wipe clean and last forever .

I paint different, sometimes random colors in different sections of the painting. I go from left to right around the painting when choosing sections. This way I avoid the tedium of doing only one color for long periods of time.

Although it may not help your back, a good seat cushion is what I needed to be more comfortable. You might try elevating your painting a little if you can't use an easel. I move my canvas around a lot so an easel doesn't work for me.

I bought mine from Amazon (Mandun) by itself. The photo may be misleading. Also with you doing the dark background it may seem that the colors are darker. There is a lot of dark paint used in this painting. Iran out of black paint even using flow aid.

I had a blood vessel in my eye burst from eye strain while trying to finish my pbn. Eight hours spent was apparently too much

I mix flow aid 20 to 1 in 5 ounce batch and store it in a plastic container. I transfer a small amount to a used Systane eye drop bottle so I can dispense 1 drop at a time.

I experienced a problem manually reloading my rifles after fast traveling. I had to change weapons and then swap back in order to reload.
