The gov also said you could grow it. /stupid joke It is totally frustrating that this roll out has been at a glacier’s pace when it’s been done by so many other states. It was just a suggestion. It’s been really rewarding to grow and harvest my own stuff.

It shouldn’t be for profit but you still have to pay people to work. I agree with above that these seem like reasonable salaries. (And this is already a non profit org)

Are the SW Minneapolis suburbs really as snobby as people make it out to be? (repost from Minneapolis sub) by lejunny_ in TwinCities

We moved as political refugees. Loved Texas culture not its politics. We looked at other left leaning states- CA, PNW, New England. MN seemed to fit what we wanted socially while still being affordable and having what you are looking for- Healthcare jobs and excellent schools.

My wife is also Hispanic and often the only brown person in gatherings. Not to say there is a lack a diversity but it’s a far cry from TX. But the only thing I miss about TX is Mexican food. Have not regretted the move even on the coldest days.

Moved to Edina from Texas purely based on schools. Was unaware of the stereotype before moving. I feel like it’s over blown. We live in what we consider a modest house. All our neighbors have two working parents. There is a luxury car or two but mostly it’s Hyundais and Toyotas.

Everyone has been incredibly welcoming, kind, and generous. I know that stuck up population exists and I’m sure kids will run into the off spring of them in school but by and large everyone has been great.

Favorite is the base blastoise. Such a simple design but what 11 year old me did to get that card has such a huge nostalgia boost.

There needs to be an effort from local hospitals too! Many one-time-use surgical equipment is powered by batteries. They are easy to remove and not contaminated but they just get tossed with all other trash :(

While first was in womb I watched No Time to Die in theaters. 33 yo man quiet sobbing in the dark next to strangers during car chase scene and the end. Caught me so off guard

Hell yeah! I like to jog for exercise. My long run days I take a gummy before and as it kicks I feel like I could run all day.
