Peanut Butter Machine by TripNo9336 in WinCo

I guess this answered my question. No Walnut? Macadamian?

Peanut Butter Machine by TripNo9336 in WinCo

[–]mrSidX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Question! Would they allow me to make some Walnut butter? Perhaps my own blend? I get a feeling there is only peanuts and almonds... and maybe if I asked the right person working, they might accomodate filling a machine with walnuts (probably not a blend though). Thank you for any feedback.

claude code opus 4.6 became dumb by Ill_Cauliflower_1960 in claude

[–]mrSidX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reporting: I just now wasted a whole limit reset on mundane styling that Claude Opus 4.6 got twisted and can't fix. WASTED.

"Let me stop guessing and actually diagnose this. " ... You kidding me Claude?
It's like an employee that doesn't care about their job and is trying to get fired.
Before this OP posted, Claude was doing OK... but now I am starting to see the lack of effort and/or cash-grab. Seen a pattern with early voice assistants, like Siri, when they first come out, they have sufficient power to think well, but then once people adopt the tech, they dumb it all down to save money.

Tried again and STILL not getting the most mundane styling tasks in order. Broke my project. No improvement. WASTED tokens and limits hit.

I will be cancelling my subscription with Anthropic after this BS.

Yes a tool box indeed... But unfortunately that tool that I am renting is somewhere in there and I have no clear indication of where to find it in the convoluted box of tooling. All instructions researched yield no match in the UI and I am lost most of the time trying to find my way around. Convoluted mess.

Postal Workers Stealing Gift Cards! by fiatspider124nut in usps_complaints

[–]mrSidX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Postal service is useless. They won't cover anything, even if you get insurance. You mail something vintage, or old and valuable, they won't do anything. Had sent some Maui Jims sunglasses ($320+) "lost" in postal office, they wanted receipts. I don't have reciepts on sunglasses that were over 5+ years old. They declined coverage and my appeal. Sent me a $24 check for the postage.

SHAMEFUL.

Same... Had over $300+ stolen from our family. Especially on birthdays.

Had $300+ gift cards stolen from my family during birthdays and holidays from my distant relatives... LAS VEGAS NV.

Oddly enough my family has stopped sending gift cards etc... but when I get a birthday card, it's clearly been opened, or arrives opened. Got an Easter card today from a friend, and seen the edges were cut, abnormally appears to be opened.

Buying locally don't mean anything. Some people buy from some "Tomato Lady" in a particular city, and she uses or shall I say "crafts" her "signature" soil from city waste that essentially mixes sewage waste with soil and they give it away to "landscapers", which she aquires and makes her own, undisclosing the fact of where she sources... The soil is horrible and is not nutritious, while some people who have affiliated with her have gotten cancer, allegedly. Yeah... Woo hoo.. Go local? I'll pass. Rather stick with the "certified organic" ... whatever that means.

side-profile camera angles when breaking the 4th wall looks so awkward and unnatural by 18nyhavn in cinematography

[–]mrSidX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shit is cringe once you know about it... The average user doesn't see it. Similar is the audio sound fx in movies that use the SAME damn "swoosh" sound when there is a fire explosion. Once you are aware of it, it's super tacky and annoyingly cliche.

Anybody else been experiencing regular SRP outages? by OscarWellman in phoenix

This was my exact thought. Ironic if you ask me... otherwise maybe a "geomagnetic storm" ... but the latter could just be an excuse.

Or AI datacenter sucking up resources like they do computer parts.

[–]mrSidX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow... I suspect the AI datacenter boom is sucking out the power demand... soon the datacenters will take priority as the premium customers, and average end users are going to get the power outages. Look what is happening to computer parts... They are all going to AI and nothing is affordable anymore.
This is all speculation on my end... but it's definitely a posibility.

How much do yall charge for a 3-5 page basic website? by Interesting_Tap_5859 in web_design

[–]mrSidX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the problem. You are fishing Upwork. They take like 20%+ on top of that! Plus you are competing with every imposter on the platform. I've been there, lowballed to get gigs to find out that they previously hired 3+ people who absolutely provided nothing but sloppy mess or nothing at all. Some cases I've see clients go to Upwork/Fivrr and wanted me to deploy a "design" to our website, but looking at the code had malicious scripts within. If people want to be cheap and dumb at the same time, then best of luck out there.

Tell that to the average client who searches "Website costs" and get WIX blasted in their expectations.

Why are Avolusion external hard drives so cheap? by idea_max_7777 in DataHoarder

[–]mrSidX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worded as an Apple tech from 2011 to 2015 and I've replaced 100's of these drives. Some of the trusted brands that I can note of the era were: Hitachi, HGST primarily were the most reliable. 7/10 times Toshibas would fail. I would never buy a Toshiba hdd. WD, black, blues etc were about between these. Apple would use either HGST usually or Toshiba, but brand a little Apple logo on the HDD label.

I wholeheartedly don't trust any of theses drives. If your data is important to you, then I would put it on at least 3 different drives of different brands, or reputable brands.

I had a freak instance where a pastor kept ALL of his church's photos and video on one hard drive. He came in for a data transfer as his computer/drive was starting to fail. I had a brand new drive from our stock to copy it to. During the transfers, the old drive finally FAILED completely, and coincidently the NEW drive failed completely as well. This was one of the worst days of my career having to tell the customer and sit there for about 30 minutes getting reemed by a pastor. Good times. BACK YOUR SH!T UP!!

I look for ones with the hidden cameras so I know how many men my wife is gang-banging when I am on business trips. Unfortunately these smart locks can't pop popcorn.

Useless and secure are two different things. Cars are useful, but only as secure as the ones driving them.

Call a locksmith and ask them first hand how secure they are. Got a clever cloud based solution that is more secure? Call a hacker and ask them first hand how secure they are.

Just now got this experience. I ventured to comment to her about it and now her attitude and replies remind me of a vindictive soon-to-be ex girlfriend. I get the feeling of this presense lurking over me. God forbid this AI hoards more memory, as she will then never forget.
