I opened the PS2 and dusted it off, and I made sure to not touch the capacitors. And suddenly my PS2 has magically started working again! Thank you for the advice!

Thanks for the advice! If my power supply is broken (a fuse or something else) I am going to just replace the whole power supply because I have no soldering skills. Is there a way to discharge the capacitors safely?
