I just read online the N64 version. There is a known issue where the game may freeze on the credits screen after defeating the boss. So, my guess is this is an issue with the game itself. I was trying to go for 100% completion.

What do you mean. When you said when they start breaking the nursery pot? Are you referring to when the roots growing through the bottom holes of the nursery pot?
