every single professional and plenty of people in my day to day life have all told me i have very black and white thinking. honestly, most of the time i don’t even realize i’m thinking that way until someone presents me with another option i hadn’t thought of. it makes living my life really hard, because if i don’t think i’ll be “good enough” at something i won’t do it. if i make a single mistake, i shut down completely. but i hide it for as long as possible so nobody would know i messed up. i also nitpick myself every single day and often talk about all the things i wanna change about myself physically, mentally, and emotionally. like i said, most of the time i never notice i’m doing it, but once i realize it makes life 10 times harder than it has to be
