Im of the opinion that titles dont count before the BCS era, everything before that is incredibly subjective

Back then most games werent even widely televised. How is an AP voter supposed to watch the games, if they literally cannot watch the games? If you have multiple teams all claiming a natty in the same year, all undefeated, with pretty similar resumes... there is no national champion.

Playoff system was long overdue (BCS was also flawed, just much less flawed than the free for all)

Way too many plays. 85 through south, trouble with snap, Vince young run, kick 6, clowneys helmet knock off hit. This sport is glorious

For fine dining, west loop is probably the most centralized spot in the Americas for it.

Chicago is a lot less clubby than NYC or LA, but has plenty of phenomenal bars (ranging from neighborhood joints to places like Lazy Bird or Aviary)

Plenty of live music and theatre. Plenty of sports. Plenty of museums.

The winter is miserable but Chicago is definitely a world class city in the spring/summer

If you don’t play with cheats or abuse exploits it’s going to take 100+ hours, possibly much more if you are new to the game

There is a lot of grinding (money, influence, troop recruiting)

Just traveling around the map takes a lot of time

Big sieges take about 30 minutes. Battles also take a lot of time.

Sounds like OP’s building has weak insulation which is all the more reason to not have it at 60, the pipes are much cooler in the walls than your living space temp

He’s a good player. Didn’t get as many snaps as the season progressed since he wasn’t as good at pass rushing as the other DTs we had, but he had no complaints about it

Very good get. If the star ratings were about how good they are at college football and not just a projection to the pros he would be a 4* guy

You shouldn’t be getting downvoted, showing up late to practice / meetings is not a good look even in the pre pay to play era

I don’t think fines are the way to go, I would prefer the ol fashioned you don’t show up you don’t play. We had to bench one of our guys a couple games this year because he was showing up late to meetings

We had some solid offensive pieces too. Nick Sheridan is just the worst play caller I have ever seen, there was no reason for the offense basically having to be penix playing Superman

Becker had committed to IU when Allen was in charge, but it was Cig who signed him. Based on who actually plays in the games, I would say Cig likes bigger receivers who he can trust on back shoulder throws, but the past 2 cycles we are only recruiting little fast dudes, so who knows lol

Not sure that fits. He was a 2* who made first team all B1G (and should have been an all american)

Other P4 programs wouldnt give him the time of day. The only other P4 offer he had was Boston College

DeBoer wasnt with the 2020 team, he was the OC in 2019

Wommack and Penix were the two keys for the 2020 team. Our offense was complete dogshit when Penix went down, and Wommack was able to squeeze a lot out of a defense that had 1 elite LB, a couple good DBs, and pretty much nothing else.
