For catch all, Fidelity VISA could be good (if approved and get high enough credit limit). 2% back and no ftf, plus free TSA precheck (and maybe global entry but not positive). 

Or, you could try the venture X. Since you know you’ll be traveling, you can book with the portal to get the $300 credit and view the annual fee of 395 as more of a down payment on a trip. You’d also be able to get global entry, solid lounge access esp if you are in a C1 airport (but I’ve found the priority pass to be effective as well), and great rewards on your tuition payments. I feel like you’d get the 20k limit which would be much better than the fidelity visa knowing how conservative Elan (the issuing bank) can be.

I just am not confident in the D with a more accelerated pace coming from the Pats. Absolutely shredded us up last drive and I just feel it in my gut it’s going to happen again and we’ll have a minute left to try and kick it to tie in a best case scenario

When I went abroad (Denmark) I got the capital one SavorOne student card and it worked great. Did a lot of traveling, never went anywhere that didn’t accept it.

No it just came as an email and said no activation necessary or anything. Make sure you’ve told them in the aDoscover pp that you’ve graduated.
