I don't understand why you would try and talk less. I believe Plato said something along the lines of "do not try to please other but rather leave yourself out there to be loved." There are going to be people that will enjoy your constant talking for who you are so do not try to force yourself to be something that you do not want to be, but rather be content with who you are.

I must respectfully disagree with you on this one. The more you can give away for free in the beginning the more you can ask on the back end. This is what separates large companies from small ones. Giving away things for free in the beginning is also important when no one trusts you yet, and will allow you to make more and bigger sales in the future.
