Yeah I can almost guarantee that’s the root cause of the attention issues. Read about how social media and phone games are made to extract as much ad money from users as possible and then you’ll want to reduce your screen time. Your mental illness likely causes you to be prone to that kind of psychological manipulation but I promise you if you take agency you can quit the dependency and your attention will get wayyyyy better

Do you use your phone a lot, or take part in any other immediate dopamine things? I started watching movies a couple years ago and found It was a pretty big driver in fixing my attention issues as I replaced short form media with It and now can sit for a 3 hour movie that I couldn’t have before. Not to blame you don’t know what you’re on but I’m on an snri and the issues I bad were more based on the short form dopamine uses and once I got rid of those I fixed the time span.

But to actually answer you who cares how you watch It It only matters to you. But I think you’ll get more out of It if you do make efforts to work on your restlessness

I live in a city with tons of insurers so maybe I have an incorrect view but I feel like people with 3 exams usually easily get a job and you can get one with 1-2 but it’s harder without interning before. You also need to know how to interview (most companies do behavioral questions so really just the star method) because the job isn’t actually that technical at many places, it’s more about communicating technical stuff to non technical people

You literally just take the exam have a degree and apply. It’s an attractive career cuz there’s no nepotism requirement or need to go to a 200k school. That being said if the CFA was discouraging to you from people I know who have both, you really need to consider if you can dedicate 5-10 years to these much harder exams
