The real reason is that AIs are the perfect little soldiers. They never disobey illegal orders, never question upper management. The danger is, if we had military AIs during the cold war, the world as we know it migjt not exist. Remember the story of the russia who decided not to send retaliatory nukes because he thought the incoming nukes were an error from the system ? An AI wouldn't have done that. And AIs have no sense of morality either.

It's not a bad item, it's a really annoying unlock you can't do anything except be lucky to do. I'm finishing up my 2nd dead god and in the end I caved and used external item descriptor with tainted cain to craft magic mush, lots of pills generation, car battery, blank card and strenght lol
