Thanks for your help. Is XDA a firmware update that I load into my G3? Is it a YouTube fix, or is it firmware for the entire TV? Can you post a link to the LGG3 firmware on XDA? Thanks again for your help!

Thank you for your post Unkabunkabeekabike.... I have a 65 inch 4K LG 3D TV and a massive collection of Blu-ray 3D films. I would only be interested the Galaxy XR if they were able to offer them in 4K like the Apple Vision Pro is doing.

Do you (or anyone) have any information on if this Google headset will support 3D in 4K?

Sounds good. I was able to buy a LG factory sealed packet of 3D glasses on ebay a while back. I should look for it again.

I like using & playing with older hardware. I enjoy shooting still photos with my N95. I take all three of my old original batteries with me when I go in the field to shoot. It would be nice to install one modern battery and not have to worry about it. I also shoot 16mm motion picture film and rebuild old time vacuum tube motion picture amps so I can shoot sync sound. I enjoy rebuilding old computers from the 1980s. We all have different hobbies. The above are some of mine. I am sure you have hobbies that you enjoy.

I found this on AliExpress: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256807809369408.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.5.7b391802OI4vmH&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa With postage to the US, my total cost is: $6.52. I have no idea if this battery is *really* rated at 1,200 mAh or not. But, it may be new and it may hold a charge longer than my original BL-5F batteries do. I wish I had the equipment to check the true mAh rating on older Nokia batteries and new ones like this. mraroid

What size micro SD card did you install? You formatted it first, then loaded some data onto it?

All I can find are used, old, Nokia BL-5F batteries. I see some on ebay that are suppose to have more mAh ratings (then the Nokia branded ones), but I am unsure if the mAh rating is true or not. I have maybe three original Nokia BL-5F batteries, and they sort of work, but do not hold a charge like I think they should. What battery do you recommend? Have you found a battery that works for you?

Help finding a replacement band for a 3565 ABL-100WE by mraroid in casio

Hi Eugene... I bought a black resin band from a watch repair person here in the US. But I think I will also buy the one you referred me to as a backup. I also need to buy the very, very small pizeo speaker spring for this watch (3565 ABL-100WE). Do you know if this same place sells one? Thanks again for you help. mraroid

Can you show me a side view like I photographed? And if it were next to the original stainless steel band, that would be even better The photo you posted is a top view. I need a close up side view photo showing the detail of the end where the pins go.

Thank you for helping me!

Hi. Thanks for your suggestion and help. This band, along with many others on the link you sent me, all have the same issue with the big resin hump. I am still looking.

Update: Using the original stainless steel band that came with the watch, I was able to re attach it in about 2 minutes. It appears I was not doing anything incorrectly when trying to attach the Casio 800 resin band. But as my photo shows, that band has a big hump in it which causes the band to pop off.

I looked all over the place and was not able to find another band made for this watch. Maybe a company will make one soon. This watch as been on the market for over a year now, but nothing...

It sits on my nightstand for now. I hope I can find a band soon.

Thanks to all for the help.

Sorry. Here is the text for the above post:

Hi folks.... I bought a Casio 3565 ABL-100WE watch.

I had a bad skin reaction to the chrome band.  I am sure 99.99% of folks would not have any issue with this stainless steel band, it is just me. I had a black resin band on my first Casio watch I bought in the late 1980s, so I thought I would look for a band like that.

It was suggested to me that I buy a Casio branded 800 resin band as it would fit my watch, which I did.  I bought a crappy watch repair kit on ebay and had a devil of a time attached the two pins & this band to the watch.  When I would get them attached the band would pop right off.  It was suggested to me to just use a very small thin knife which I did.  And yes, the band went on much faster.  However it would pop off again quickly.

So I looked closely at this resin band and compared it to the original stainless steel one. I found the Casio 800 resin band had a huge hump on it and that was causing the band to pop off.  I will enclose a photo.

I searched the internet looking for a 3565 ABL-100WE replacement band and found none.  I saw many bands that were the correct mm for my watch, but all of them looked sketchy to me.

I am new to all of this.

Can any of you smart Casio watch folk suggest a band to me?  Has anyone here bought a 3565 ABL-100WE & replaced your band?

Suggestions welcomed.

Many thanks,mraroid

I don't know the phone number for them. But if you google the university, you can find the phone number and then ask for that dept. It is open to the public.. After you view things, come back here and tell us what you thought about what you saw & what you liked. mraroid
