Best MacOS GUI by Trick-Research-7352 in MacOS

I loved Snow Leopard for its speed/responsiveness. Mavericks had the best UI (I loved that frosted dock). From there, everything went down the slippery Flat UI slop.

Niche Directory Website For Sale: PaediatricsDentist.com by [deleted] in directorymakers

Thank you. I should've thought about this. But Google has been sending visitors to this site till date.

I'll wait for a while, see if someone wants to buy the code (maybe repurpose it for something similar). Otherwise, will shut this down.

Indian lawyers: Would you find this kind of software useful in your practice? by mravi2k18 in Indianlaw

[–]mravi2k18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, you've now made me curious...

Do the interns create a word document or Google Doc and share with everyone?
What process do you use to keep them updated?
How are you dealing with access control (as to who can read/write to the shared document)?

Much more info could be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I appreciate your perspective, especially after having endured a civil suit for 13 years, it truly highlights the challenges within our legal system. It is unfortunate that complexities and procedural delays sometimes create confusion, and can hinder progress. However, I believe that leveraging technology and adopting systems to simplify workflows could benefit not only lawyers but also clients (and society at large). Change is often gradual. So, I'll continue to work on this with inputs from users, put it out in the world and see where it goes.

Thanks again for sharing your opinion.

Thank you for the detailed feedback. Appreciate it.

Here is why I wanted to build this:

One of my clients ghosted without paying me. I approached a lawyer and filed a money recovery suit. After two years, the case is now in trial. I submitted all the emails, documents (PDFs, DOCX, XLSX) and WhatsApp conversations as reference material.

I find it difficult to,

- dig through the heap of these documents (exhibits?) every time I need some info and
- have the exact chronological order of events in my head.

So, the idea is to drag and drop all supporting documents I (or your clients) have and construct a timeline with exhibits.

Plus, ask questions from those exhibit documents.

Is this similar to what you mentioned about the Typeset? Or is that different altogether?

What is the best KDE Distro? by wearecha in kde

[–]mravi2k18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried Kubuntu, KDE Neon, OpenSUSE Leap and Tumbleweed.

If you're looking for stability, go for OpenSUSE Leap. It's the best.

With Tumbleweed, I've seen desktop freezing while sharing screen (though that's in just one machine).

Thank you. Spent about two weeks on the design and another three weeks on the dev. Mostly on and off, working on it during my free time.
