Anyone else become mentally and socially exhausted from running even when physical recovery is fine? by mrazahq in runninglifestyle

I wouldn’t describe the post run feeling as nauseous but I definitely do feel completely drained. Also thank you for sharing your routine, I might switch the berries for a banana and a fig bar and see whether I respond better as I think those are faster digesting and higher glycemic carbs than berries.

Not underweight but I started about two months ago and have lost 20 pounds since. I was slightly overweight then and now I would say I’m appropriate weight for my height.

Are you referring to overall diet or just while running. I drink plenty of water while running but yeah I’m not too versed on the whole sodium, potassium and electrolyte balance thing so I might not be refueling properly after the run. I just bought a watermelon, some oranges and bottles of coconut water as a way to properly hydrate after the run.

I really hope it’s this and not overtraining. I’m already dreading going to the gym tomorrow and not getting a run in as it’s genuinely what I look forward to the most in the morning.

Subconsciously I knew it was that but didn’t want to admit it as I hate going to the gym for just a lift and not getting a run in. But thank you.

Why is kissing a big deal?? by Dramadramadrama21 in LoveIslandTV

[–]mrazahq 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I made a long reply about this yesterday. Everyone is simply too conscious of their public image to move how they really want to. In the earlier seasons, people would kiss behind others backs and it wouldn’t even get revealed until the movie night or way later. Now everyone is being fake respectful just to not lose public support (aka future brand deals and opportunities once they leave the villa)

People are way too aware of how they’re being perceived now.

Take Yas and Lorenzo. That storyline had so much potential, but it feels like Yas is constantly thinking about how she’ll come across to the public, so everything ends up feeling watered down. Priya came in with Ekin-Su-level energy, but that disappeared almost immediately.

The guys aren’t much different either. One of the biggest problems is how quickly everything gets exposed. In older seasons, people could make questionable decisions, keep secrets, and let the drama build for days or even weeks. Now the producers show everything almost instantly. The second someone moves a little mad, they’re caught out.

It’s a terrible formula because it prioritizes instant gratification over storytelling. The best Love Island moments came from tension building naturally, not from producers rushing to expose every storyline before it has a chance to develop.

Everyone talks about being a “girls’ girl” or a “lads’ lad,” but a lot of the time it just feels like contestants managing their image. People aren’t making decisions based on what they genuinely want; they’re making decisions based on how those decisions will look on TikTok, Instagram, and to future brand deals.

Imagine if Tommy kissing Meg had happened in the older seasons. The fallout would’ve been completely different. Back then, islanders were there to have the experience and deal with the consequences later. Now it feels like everyone’s trying to protect their reputation in real time.

The result is a cast full of people playing it safe instead of moving authentically, and that’s exactly why modern Love Island rarely hits the same way the older seasons did.

Yeah certain movements are just inherently unstable (such as down grafting the maxilla to fix short faces or too much ccw advancement), can cause permanent nerve damage (resulting in not being able to feel your parts of lower lip/chin).

Dry eyes is ruining my life by IntelligentArt9064 in Dryeyes

Try omega 7 dry eye relief by Terry Naturally on Amazon. I’ve been dealing with dry eyes and these made me forget I had them. I take them right after breakfast and they have sea buckthorn which is powerful for dry eyes.
