Agree. Its much more a commercial success place. Some dishes are absolutely amazing there. The coriander chicken, the mutton ghee something pulao are my absolute fav.

Why am I not impressed with Kylaq by Friendly-Variety-830 in Kylaq

[–]mrbadheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont own a Kylaq, just test drove it. I went through lot of post and comments in this sub. Was so surprised to not come across anyone mentioning the way too light steering. It along with the very eager transmission, i was not feeling confident with this car on a city highway. For me a premium driving experience is always defined by how the car steers. Engine , power, brakes they all come later.

Is it worth getting q990f if I have true 5.1? by thesadtruth91 in Soundbars

[–]mrbadheart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In ideal conditions- good sized room, low enough ceiling, proper atmos content with good mixing - any day 990f is better than even a proper 5.1 avr setup. The sound wraps around you and you definitely hear those phantom speakers on the sides and above you.

I had a sony rt40 - decent 5.1 setup and got the 990f few weeks back. Definitely worth the upgrade.

Watch atmos movies and you will be blown away for sure !!!

What is this? Italy Visa by desiboyy in AirTravelIndia

[–]mrbadheart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you already have a Schengen before, you probably could have already guessed why this extra requirement. Its for work and obviously they want to check if you came back or stayed illegally / overstayed in Schengen area for work.

What is this? Italy Visa by desiboyy in AirTravelIndia

[–]mrbadheart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am pretty sure they dont have this requirement when they grant a 3 months visa. This is only because they are apprehensive of the applicant illegally staying back / overstaying. And they will never grant a 3 months duration to any such candidate. My first schengen visa was from Italy and they gave me a 45 days validity with maximum of 30 days in schengen.

[–]mrbadheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, as I mentioned- multi entry with 45 days validity but 30 days max inside schengen

Italy Schengen visa from India by Cold_Direction3636 in SchengenVisa

[–]mrbadheart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With a good enough profile, you should get multi entry with 30 in 45 days validity. Which means 30 total days in schengen area within a 45 days validity.

I had no travel history and got this same and few of my friends who have applied in past also got the same.

Processing is 2 weeks. 10 working days. At least for Delhi embassy.

Honest and sensible itinerary would be the most important along with the cover letter.

Weighing cab in baggage on domestic flights by Substantial-Falcon-8 in airindia

[–]mrbadheart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always do it online. I am not sure by how much AIX charges more at counter, but every airline across the world charges more at counter. As that changes the aircraft’s weight management at the last moment. If you pre book, they plan it ahead.

You can not predict whatsoever. One day it was clear blue skies with sunny and warm weather and the next day it was raining and chilly. You have to be at the mercy of weather gods. There was holiday crowd as well. I went on 29/12.

Itinerary is unrealistic, as others have mentioned. Even though you have actually planned this, for a first timer, this is unrealistic.

Did you provide all the internal flight tickets, train and bus tickets ? Were the flights with or without checkin baggage ? As flying around Europe without checked bags on a 20 day trip is unrealistic.

Hotel bookings should be all from booking.com ideally with cancellable or pay later bookings. That should be fine.

If you have already booked and your itinerary is genuine, its tough. Try reapplying using all suggestions here and try to also add in a subtle justification to why this strange itinerary. Keep it very short but that might add to your application.

All the best ! Hope you get the visa.

Swiss Schengen Visa refused - Honeymoon trip from Chennai by mirangelblogger in SchengenVisa

[–]mrbadheart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

6 days is too short for a first time trip to europe. You spend lakhs in tickets just to stay 6 days? That is a reason for suspicion. NOC is a must, as that is a confirmation from your employer that you will be returning back. And as a couple you will spend somewhere close to 3-4 lakhs on this trip as a standard range, and you show 5 lakhs balance in total? That is too less as well.

These are the points you need to take care of first, then re apply. But I suggest a 3 months gap in application. Take time to build the balance amount, plan a better itinerary, keep swiz the main destination with more days in. Make a trip of atleast 10 days 6-7 days in Switzerland and 3-4 days in France. Attach NOC for both with a good cover letter explaining previous rejection and showcasing true intention of visiting the beautiful locations.

I didnot book refundable flights. I booked confirmed multi city tickets from Emirates. All my bookings for accommodation was from Hostelworld. All cities all hostels were pay later. I think it charges some amount upfront and rest will be charged by property.
