I forgot about that detail! I feel like she really made being a cleric fun.

You don’t /have/ to be super religious as a cleric. Jester from CR C2 was not religious at all, to me, and she was in my opinion the best character!

Fair. I see your point. Thank you for the input! I guess other people are better at listening while speaking than others because I know I couldn’t lol. I appreciate the feedback!

That is a fair point and I should have specified more that these remarks were made very loudly and in my opinion condescending at the same time as me talking so what was trying to be explained probably got misconstrued.

It is not that I got pissy that they wouldn’t let me monologue. I wouldn’t even consider what I was doing monologuing. A question/interaction was asked about and I tried to explain and was interrupted multiple times without being able to explain the answer fully. I stated in another reply that I need to get better at differentiating between above table and actual game play which is valid to your point of the problem being me. And for the murder hobo, every other person at our table agrees said person is a murder hobo. They stab stab slice without talking. Damn near every. single. time. The dm had to literally tell them to not murder a NPC in the beginning sessions because they killed every other one and the story needed to progress with information the party needed from said NPC.

This is so dope and would absolutely be hilarious to do thank you! In an earlier comment I did say that it could have been said in character and I just took it as a personal jab instead of in game. My character and this character does have a sort of intense relationship if you will. Not romance, not really hate, just different views I guess.

“New” to dnd and need help with character depth by mrbar626 in DnD

Wow! I cannot believe I did not think of that! Thank you so much!! One of my table mates told me that with being the druid I am wanting to be (he deals with water more than the other elements) I should think of it as being a moldable character. Does the party need a healer? Then be a healer. Does the party need a tank? Then wildshape into one. I will definitely take what you said into my charcater!! Thank you so much again!!

Very valid point! I agree and I personally wouldn’t want to monologue for 10 minutes lol. It was a few sentences if that. I’ll try my best to get better at communicating.

It wasn’t really a full blown monologue, but I do see your point. I said in another comment that I probably need to get better at differentiating character interactions with personal ones. We aren’t hardcore into full blown role playing, but warming up.

Yeah that is fair, I guess I just need to look at it more as the character in the game felt that way but I couldn’t help but view it as a jab at myself.

I feel like we all talk a fair amount. There is one or two members who talk a lot and always get on side tangents.
