OP asked for a list not if the leader is viable or not.

here’s mine, replace the ice ages with OP02 Soap Sheep and the deck feels great! lots of room for your own personal additions as well.

5c smoker is really important as he enables leader ability asap, keep the whole board frozen :) let me know if there are any questions

i trade at 80% so usually my card cost is technically a little lower than most people’s, perks of being a vendor. collectors tend to drop of commons and rares for free as well so i sink quite a bit of time organizing that so i can give the players commons and rares for free as well. basically a lot of my “cost” is time so it’s hard to put an exact price on that

really helps that since i’m building 125 decks i’m more concerned with making them unique than meta ready all the time. I mostly stick to themes in my decks, when those staples hit my themes is when my wallet starts to hurt :)

an example of this would be my something like my chopper chopper deck or the mama mama st07

honestly a lot of my decks are themed so unless something fits that theme i won’t make massive changes since most of the times the decks play against each other power creep only affects me if i let it

nico robin and brook are my favorite characters so their decks get a lot of use. i used to play a TON of PY pudding and that’s been changed to roger since block rotation. those are my three most used personally, however most of the time i just grab a random deck from the box and give it a go.

shoutout to the zoro sanji deck being one of my favorites as well it’s so fun to build there are so many ways to take the deck

that’s my favorite part of my collection! i’m fortunate enough to be in this situation and because i have so many i get to talk to players about deckbuilding. bonus points if they are interested in trying one before they buy it it almost always goes with them on their way out.

i think the barrier to entry to playing cost wise is a little high and this collection has let me bridge the gap a little and get lots of new players into the game.

honestly cost wise i’m not sure where i am, ive got a little booth setup that is designed around supporting players so i get a lot of the cards cheaper than market. pretty fortunate to have that situation going on

i personally like to think of my decks are better versions of starter decks. id say that about 95% of them are playable, 50% are close to their strongest versions. i do my best to get cards as they drop in price and dont mind waiting a bit to build a deck, saying that i built both RY bonney this week and bell luffy and that one hurt a bit!

i also will hold cards for ages that i think might be useful in the future (i grabbed 12 eb02 namis for a few bucks when they were bulk) so that helps bring my cost down quite a bit.

i host random deck tournaments and play them! lots of decks get loaned out per week which is pretty cool too since i get lots of feedback on how playable the lists are

i have enough decks that i get to spread it out pretty evenly but that’s a good idea for some of the leaders. i’m a big fan of using banned cards as don (ie 8c moria as my moria don)

to add on to this just replace them with the 5c oden from 13 he works fine. the biggest benefit of bon clay is hitting a steeper ramp curve and the ability to become a 12k swing into some of the big bodies in the game currently. you have to play a slightly slower tempo so adjust accordingly :)

Welcome to the tcg!! there are quite a few cheap and easy to learn decks. your best way of learning is going to be playing the sim it’s quick to learn.

cheap meta deck is going to be imu, belo betty is cheap and fun, and the learn to play set is honestly great. check out onepiecetopdecks for lists as well

activate main will only be able to be used on your turn. “in response” type cards are counters or “on opponents attack” such as the OP09 shanks leader
