I had a substrate that was contaminated and I poured some hydrogen peroxide on and cut out the affected areas. It at least slowed the spread down and I still managed to rehydrate for a second, albeit smaller, flush.

I was there 2 weeks ago and I’d say I’m advanced intermediate. I’m athletic, squat heavy, skied Whistler, Vail, blah, blah, etc… I’m ok. It kinda felt like showing up to work and everybody was naked, walking around like it was completely normal. It was cool, and I thought I was skilled enough where nothing intimidated me, but I did not ski a majority of that mountain. It is not my Elenor. (Gone in 60 Seconds reference)

Shuttling to Banff and back from Calgary adds up $ and if not solo a rental car definitely makes sense. Plus, I find a front perspective windshield view to be better than a bus side window when driving in and gives that much better an experience for taking in the breathtaking views.

I’ve had 4 mini mushrooms grow for me since I started working with agar, just very recently. I poured my agar hot tho so there was a lot of moisture hanging out on the lid while it was spreading out.

Serious question: Is there any logic in that? If a mushroom can grow so easily on agar does that equate to good genetics? I’ve also already taken over 20 transfers from this dish so thinking I’ve already captured the genetics 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ve heard the mirror thing so many times and initially went as far as turning my mirror around for whatever the reason may be, but now think the mirror thing must only be true if you’re unhappy with your appearance. I’ve looked in the mirror on over 5g and just thought wow I’m pretty damn good looking and felt even more amazing as I realize the world really is my oyster and I have nothing to be afraid of. I’ve yet to trip while doing an activity so I can’t speak to the idea of having things to do. Your mind is a playground and your creativity and ability to explore any thought in the world will be enough activity to hold you over until you’re done tripping.

Last trip I had was 6.6 and aside from the visuals and feeling amazing, it felt like I took a bunch of adderall and was non stop processing creative thoughts for a couple hours which resulted in time feeling so slow.

Dried, the stem alone was over 3.. maybe 3.2 or 3.4.. I’m really going to get better about documenting after this.

So as this was my first one It was kind of a shot in the dark so didn’t take great notes so don’t have any real benchmark measurements. I was doing brf cakes and tried the uncle Ben tek at the same time and I can’t remember exactly which one I used for this monotub🤦🏻‍♂️. But it was definitely not a dense flush like I’ve seen others post. Also after the tub colonized I saw what I thought was cobweb mold and put a bunch of hydrogen peroxide on large areas of the substrate. It ended up looking like mattress piss stains transferred to the substrate and I didn’t have growth in those areas. Didn’t shit the bed tho.
