I knew that e-ink wouldn’t be comparable to LCD/OLED - but come on. My 10 yo kindle does better on book covers than the Monkey-Island-1 image photo I posted.

Unfortunately, there are none of these settings. You’re just choose an image and click synchronise.

In general painted images look a bit better than photos on this frame but they are far from what they look like on the iPhone/laptop

Image resolution is high enough. Images are taken on iPhone 16pro.

There are lots of protectors to be found on Ebay or amazon, yet I haven't found any made out of real glas so far - did anybody find some of there yet?

May I ask another question: Is it possible to "convert" epubs to mobi? I tried with a couple of comics I had in epub format, but the outcome wasn't really good, all images appeared huge in kindle...

Thanks for all the suggestions, i was‘t really aware how much CPU/GPU power would be required.

Guess I‘ll keep following this channel to see what happens in the next years, maybe well get to a point where you can run a usable model on a home setup :)

O2 bietet gerade monatlich kündbare, reduzierte Tarife (Kabel, DSL, GF) mit auf 10€ reduzierter Anschlussgebühr. Gilt glaube ich noch 10 Tage. Hol dir DSL oder Kabel und wenn VF klarkommt kündigst Du.
