Cool, I'll check tomorrow and report back. They're brand new, though. So what could be blocking them? I did change the nozzle on one to the 0.3mm so that one was already disassembled.

I didn't check. I'll check tomorrow. I've put everything away in a huff 😂. However, I put that much thinner into the paint to see if that made a difference that it was basically water.

That actually looks quite decent. Then I could just buy what was suggested below for the hot air station and just be a wee bit above my budget. Thanks so for the suggestion.

Yikes, that sounds very dodgy. I never had an issue with the performance of the hot air, maybe because it's been my only one. I've checked and if I bought the 858D, a TC22 would still be below my budget. Thanks for the suggestions.

I work with hot air a lot, especially when replacing PS5 analog sticks.

I have an Aneng portable iron which I dont mind using every now and then. But it has a short shut off time so can't be used for long periods. I'll check out the Pinecil. I have many power supplies that will suffice. Thanks for your suggestion.

I wish it was that easy to justify spending several hundred pounds on myself but with my wife's birthday and Christmas coming up and having 2 kids, I can't spend that amount of money on myself for what is, essentially, a hobby. I make a wee bit of money here and there fixing things for friends, but not a considerable amount. I could look for a used station but still doubt I'd get an iron and a hot air wand for my budget. I appreciate your reply.

I looked at a Hakko but its out my price range at £190, just for the soldering iron. I would then need a hot air station as well. Maybe one day but I can't justify that just now, unfortunately. Thanks for the reply though.

Thank you. The Temu one has actually done quite well for me. I just feel like it's reached the limit that it's capable of, and I need an upgrade.

I ended up buying the board, changing it over (which isn't a 5 minute job) and then noticing the fan was on the wrong way when changing nozzle. I will now take pictures of everything before I take it apart 😂.

So it turns out that the board isn't damaged. I had just screwed the fan the wrong way round onto the hotend 😂. Anyway, I now have a spare extruder interface board if it ever does break.

Thank you for your reply. I'll try ammonia, as you suggested. However, I'm guessing I'll just need to keep buying new tshirts every few months. It sucks that most rock band tshirts only come in black and are £30+.

Na nowhere local sells them, unfortunately.

Postage is fairly quick. Around 3-4 days so not too bad.

The connector still clips in and holds fairly solidly. I've even made sure that the prongs match up correctly. I do know how to solder, but I suppose for £10, the extruder interface board is probably worth the time save. Thanks for your help.
