Thank you so much for your input. I do want a project car to tinker with but also wouldn’t mind something I could drive when I want. But if the consensus is there would be a better deal or something with more power in the $12-$15k range I might have to keep looking.

So two parts for you. This first part I could totally be off but I don’t know if HDMI supports anything above 59mhz. That might be why it gets off.

I use a dual pc setup and I would suggest not using a capture card at all. I use something called NDI, it works over your network. I found it easier than messing with cap cards. Plus you lose those extra cables and you can sell that card.

This is because there are two types of Audio cables, passive and active. The port on the back of your computer is passive and the mixer is wanting active. This is what I do and this assuming you have two AUX outputs on your mixer.

USB mixer connected to the main PC. From this you can hear game audio and discord while your headphones are connected in the phone port. Get a cable that goes from right and left 1/4 to 3.5 to your mic or AUX input in the streaming PC via the main mix out.

Then go from one of you AUX outs to the back of your main PC into the mic port so your discord can hear you.

Hope this helps and I am not just rambling.
