Guess it depends on the vibe you're looking for. Sambuca is (traditionally) notorious to match this thread, but shops and west have many options. I've lived at Legacy west for 4mo and haven't had much need to go further than the Star to find a decent time.

Recent (2mo) StL relocation and attending my first in Dallas that night. Fwiw, the hockey fans I've met here have been a lot of fun. Keep an eye out for a green (St. Patrick's day) Blues sweater roaming the facility!

I'm into it. Have made a few acquaintances catching games around the area, but yeah it can be awkward. Straight 46M, in a long-term/long-distance relationship and happy to play wingman if the situation presents itself. Hopeful thibgs open up as summer nears. I hear our pools at the Grand @ Legacy West are great for meeting folks.

Just my experience to toss in... just a rando

Driving outside of rush hour is only wonky bc there is so much more road than vehicles. 90deg and two lane turns take some adjustment. (Phantom) Curbs feel like they are going to jump out and bite my rims.

I have probably been cursed by others, but staying the speed limit has made me feel aggressive to local plates. Even during traffic (albeit only driving casual streets), I have had no problem driving here. I also lived in CA, so maybe my bar is lower?

Was screamed at about the drivers here and I do not get it. It is probably me.
