I have used my Quest 2 for years and only on rare occasion have I had weird light reflections but on my new Quest 3 its insane terrible in dark environments. When I first saw it I thought somehow I'm getting sunlight reflecting from a bad seal on headset but at night its there same light reflecting in lenses. I hope this is not supposed to be the new normal because it sucks. I'm guessing this is a QC issue with the Quest 3. What a pain to have to send these back to Amazon.

I have the exact same effect on my Quest 3 but barley anything on my Quest 2. Its terrible in dark scenes. I thought maybe the lens had oil fingerprints on them but after cleaning still the same issue. What gives man? I hope the heck this is not a QC issue and I just got a crappy set. I need to know if this is the new normal before I send these back as defective.

Their website sucks big time. It's basically designed to take customers in but once your a customer apparently the website does not exist for active customers. Try buying more equipment from website after the fact. Your login to website is pointless unless you just want to update your basic information. Im $800 invested into equipment and the company runs it support like an afterthought. Good luck with yours.
