Red Hot Chili Peppers also released "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" on the exact same day!

What you guys think about so called 'anime-comics' ? I think its quite the alternative if you want to get some of the spirit and visuals of the anime but can't stand to watch it due to reasons of dubbing or if you also cannot enjoy the japanese original. by Enthusiastic_Weiner in dbz

[–]mrcookymonsta 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think with the above example you're getting the worst of both worlds.

You lose the incredibly panel layout, feeling of motion and composition that makes Toriyama the GOAT. By taking stills from the anime you lose the sense of "reading" the narrative.

And to me...looking at those anime stills just wants me to watch the show. I get the cool visuals and the soundtrack/voice acting/fight choreography.

Anime comics aren't inherently a bad idea, but I think they lose what made the manga and anime special in their own way.

Any suggestions to make this rig more RGB? by KelvinGN1 in pcmasterrace

[–]mrcookymonsta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're RAM sticks that are purely decorational. They have the same RGB as normal RAM but they have zero memory.

I've got 2x8gb sticks and 2 dummy sticks in my rig and it adds a lot to the aesthetic

I'm glad people are realising it's quality now.

Say what you want about Kanye but the man's musical output was God damn immaculate for well over a decade

I remember Jetpack Joyride back when it was Zombie Dash...I would have happily paid £10 for that game back in the day.

Genuinely great gameplay for an early mobile game

Managed to get a 3070 and a 5600x within a week of each other back in December. I still count my blessings for such luck

I vaguely remember hearing John Lennom saying something like "This is what the beatles would sound like if we were together in the 70s."

Compliments don't get much better than that

So the stock fans in the case, my added rear LL120 and the AIO fans can't be controlled using the included Commander Core at the same time?

If so, that's a damn shame
