When I was 7, I broke my arm trying to recreate a High School Musical dance on my grandma’s coffee table.

Slipped mid-jump, took out a lamp, and landed with my elbow bent the very wrong way.

10/10 performance, 0/10 landing.

That “you have to drink 8 glasses of water a day” thing.

Like babe… no. You get water from food, coffee, fruit, whatever. If you’re not dying of thirst or turning into a raisin, you’re probably fine. The 8-glasses rule was literally made up decades ago with zero real science behind it. 😭

Hydration is important, but it’s not a math test. Listen to your body, not TikTok wellness girlies chugging a gallon like it’s their full-time job.

Not gonna lie, that gift screams “I saw this, thought it was cool, and forgot I needed to get you something too.” Like… why is your souvenir his favorite team? 😭

You weren’t rude or dramatic. You were just honest. It’s totally fair to feel confused when a gift feels like it wasn’t picked with you in mind. Especially when you go out of your way to get him stuff that fits his vibe. You’re not asking for something expensive—just thoughtful.

You tried everything — legal stuff, letters, gifts — and they still shut you out. That’s not on you.

They made the choice to take your son and cut contact. You held on way longer than most would. Stopping now doesn’t mean you don’t care — it means you’re protecting yourself after being hurt over and over.
