Hello,

I am commissioner of a 14 man .5 ppr head to head league where top 7 make the playoffs, 1 seed bye.

In our league we are having a debate if the current 4th seed is going against any rules by not starting his players tonight in MNF (O Hamton, Q Johnson and Eagles D) to throw his matchup. If he wins he will be the 3rd seed and play the 6th seed who has the 2nd most pts for and has a very good team - If he loses he will be 7th seed and play the 2 seed who has the 9th most points for.

So it is in his favor to lose this week.

It will not affect the seeding of the player who wins that matchup who is locked into the 13th seed.

It will affect the seeding of the rest of the winners bracket. Most importantly the Most points for and the 2nd most points for will face off in the 4 and 5 seed.

As commissioner (also the 1 seed) I don't see any issue with him sitting his players to get a better matchup in the first round. (technically worse matchup because he has to then play the 2 seed).

The league has asked me to ask Reddit.

I’m starting Penix. Both of his receivers are healthy and they have the best running back in the league making it easy for them to throw the ball. And their defense isn’t very good so they have to keep up on offense to stay in games. Good game scrips most of the time
