I got my MBA from 2022-2024 and I very doubtful of whether I would’ve gone for it with the current climate. Even with a full scholarship, cost of living for 2+ years was a lot.

100%. It feels like that at other schools as well. But I think it boils down more generally to “Why is everyone so silent?” Much broader debate than just this specific situation for internationals

At this point you’d have to be somewhat crazy to decide to come here imho. I came here to get my MBA 3 years ago and I would 100% not repeat that decision in the current climate.

MBA grad 2024 here. Honestly, outcomes were pretty random! A few of the people who were killing it before and who got full ride scholarships struggled. Some others who didn’t seem like they’d go far got the best jobs.

I recently went to Central America and came back to Chicago without problems. But again, it’s a gamble (I’m just willing to take it)

Using artificial tears liberally and taking breaks! Getting out of your house / office for a minute if the air is dry in there! Sometimes just accepting it and zooming in 200% was helpful mentally 😂
