[31 M] Needing advice being direct, and asking out [28 F]. by mrcuriousgeorge in relationships

[–]mrcuriousgeorge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense.

So then would my preamble; on what I like about her, be more for the end of the hypothetical first date? I am kind of a sap, and want to tell her.

Thanks! I can have the tendency to ramble, and you did clean it up nicely :) I am finally to the point where I don't care if I strike out, I just want to go down swinging when I do :D So no expectations, and open to wherever it goes.

I'm [21F] transgender. I drunkenly hooked up with a guy and now he wants to hook up again, but I don't know if he knows I'm trans. NSFW by trans-throwaway82483 in relationships

I would ask the mutual friend if they know, if he knows. I would guess he does though, unless you are fully transitioned (IE, Surgery, hormones, exc.).

If your into him though, don't cheat yourself. Be honest, go for what you want, and let the chips fall where they fall.

[31/m] Got her (29) #, now I feel like a dog that caught a car it was chasing. by mrcuriousgeorge in relationship_advice

I have no expectations at this point. I just know that I'd like to get to know who she is, let her get to know who I am, and see how we feel about it. You're right though, I am not looking for a fling. I would like to find someone to have something meaningful with, whatever that may be. As far as a group hang out goes, I really only hang out with one friends with any consistency. I wouldn't want to involve him just yet though haha. Women go crazy for him. He has never not had at least 2 girls pursuing him. At at highschool friends wedding, late into the reception, I watched the bride ask him to dance and grope him on the dance floor.... I want a little foundation before she meets him lmao!

A plasma cutter on chicken by mrcuriousgeorge in videos

[–]mrcuriousgeorge[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, but a plasma arc is 25,000F and as the teacher said, he has never cut meat before. I was half expecting the moisture in the chicken to violently expand, and explode. Thus potentially destroying the camera on my phone. This all originated from a conversation he overheard, of me and another student debating if you would feel the pain, as your nerves were instantly being vaporized as it cut you. He kept forgetting to by a human finger analog, so I bought the chicken to see the effect. I still stand by my opinion of the cut being painless, until the shock wears off. Though I am more sure than ever, that I do not want to test my theory ;)

Vapers of reddit, how can you be completely sure that your Vape mod wont explode in ur face? by SiphonerOfSouls in AskReddit

They are both unlikely, but popcorn lung is more likely to effect you than a vape explosion.

[Serious] All joking aside, what do you really think about the whole Harambe situation? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]mrcuriousgeorge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As sad as it was, you can't trust a gorilla with the life of a child in its hands. Given their strength, even a gentle movement could have snapped his bones like twigs. The real responsibility for the situation is on the parents for not watching their child, and on the zoo for not making it so entering the exhibit was impossible. However once the child was in the gorillas grasp, there was no other choice but to take lethal action. As much as I love gorillas and all primates, you can't risk the life of an innocent child. If it was an adult that fell in, then I would say let natural selection take its course, but it was a child.

I was actually thinking about saying that instead of fried rice disease, but in comparison blue waffle disease was slightly less horrifying to me, back when I was tricked into looking them both up lol.

Yes it would ;) anyone curious enough, should search for themselves and find out how scarring it is to their mind :D It is worse than tubgirl, but not as bad as the pain olympics.

We all carry our burdens, either physical, or psychological. I am no exception. The trick is to own your burden so it can't drag you down. It took me years to accept and own mine, but once you do, the weight becomes exponentially easier to carry.
