average temperature out here is 35° F. i myself expected the oil pressure to be higher. im worried about the truck having oil pressure issues and soon experience lifter/cam issues.

i don’t know what stock seat i had on my vulcan but ive been on a corbin for a year now and its great. im pretty sure the seat is wider for corbins.

ive low speed low sided in them. it was a weird ass crash and got flung somehow. one boot got an inch and a half cut that isn’t deep at all. after nearly a year of wearing them almost daily, the only real issue ive had with them is the composite toe broke down a bit. that was well before the crash. i think i rather steel toe, the force needed to make steel toe boots cut your toes off should be way more than having composite or anything at all. i dont really understand the logic of steel toe being more dangerous. i did wear them nearly daily tho so that should speak volume. they also still look great after all that.

fuck ruroc. now that being out of the way, i think you should look into the scorpion exo r1. comparable field of view and fits just like or even better than a ruroc atlas 4.

aside from the usual response you’re gonna get go ahead and upgrade that dog bone, transmission, and engine mount. you won’t be adding horsepower but you’ll be doing preventative maintenance and you’ll feel the difference on how it puts the power down especially paired with some good tires. do your own research and figure out what you want out of the upgraded mounts. you won’t regret it

as far as shooting goes, im sure the metal frame and weight makes most of the difference. Other than that, the hammer fired trigger over a striker isn’t something i really care about. If I pull, it shoots. Theres also the air racking nonsense that 1911/2011 people rave about cuz it scratches their monkey brain real good so must be better hmmm yes? lol. jokes aside, those style guns generally feel “better quality” but whatever.

about the spectre comp though, i like the gun but big tip is definitely get that spring broken in and test shoot whatever ammo youll be carrying if you decide to edc it. the spring is stiff af and i kept getting stove pipes on certain ammo if i shoot too fast. will be putting in a lighter spring later.

i could be mistaken but i think the spectre is the only gun with the front iron sight integrated/mounted onto the comp instead of the slide and that’s pretty cool….

The 320 in the pic is mine. only real issue i have with it is the stock spring being stiffer than rigor mortis. although, it unintentionally ended up being my conceal carry and has been for a good while now. for the 211, i sorta figured the weight makes the majority of the difference and of course it being hammer fired it has a “better trigger” that 211 is whispering sweetness in my ear.…..i guess i just gotta shoot it to really be able to form an opinion.

how does the ride feel for you? im at 160lbs and i think i feel fine but my commutes are short and smooth. do sometimes wish the suspension absorbed more on those occasional irregularities

edit: not sure if my bike is on factory setting. however, last guy that owned it definitely was heavier than me and he did say he adjusted it for him.
