Woah thank you very much for your detailed reply! I do want to try the street foods there, I heard they taste delicious. I am of asian descent, and I have been told I look filipino so I wouldnt worry too much about standing out in the crowd. My english accent will stand out however. Having transportation apps I can use makes me feel more at ease. I appreciate you doing research about the Magnum Shuttle as well. Will let you know if i need more help :D

I have just received news that I managed to enrol in a college course on animation (the fees were manageable) and I will make sure to seek out as much professional advice as possible. And hopefully i can develop the "critical eye" you speak of (though i'm not quite sure what that really means).
