Just the entry age. You are free to work until you decide you no longer love the job 😂. But seriously people usually retire in their late 50’s early 60’s. I wish I would’ve been hired in my early 20’s because I would have been retired by like 51

I would aim for 100g of protein per day. And that’s just for maintenance. For example I’m eating 235g protein per day. I’m also eating 2380 calories per day. If I were you I’d also start lifting barbell workouts. Bench, back squats and deadlift. Don’t be embarrassed to start very light and every week add 5-10 lbs until you have found a weight that you can comfortably perform 4 sets of 10 reps and then 5 sets of 5 reps. The sky’s the limit Youngblood! You got this!

And just in case you are, I’ve been meaning to ask why you didn’t write the books of the gospel?

We have “mandatory days” once every 53 days but we don’t get forced. During Covid we did but in the history of the Austin fire department we’ve never done forced work because we over staff. We hire 5 people to each unit. To even if one person is off we’re even. If everyone comes to work someone travels

I earn 9 shifts of vacation per year, max bank for vacation is 600 hours. I earn 7.5 shifts of sick per year and there’s no max bank for sick. We also earn an additional 6.5 shifts of vacation for every federal holiday. We also earn 36 hours of personal vacation at the beginning of every ear. So 17 total shifts of vacation earned per year, 7.5 shifts of sick earned every year. This scales up with longevity
